It has been a very busy year so far. Very. And we love that, but I have not been showing my new work or blogging at all, which is long overdue. So… I have some cool projects planned for the next months and in the meantime I created a 2 minute video of our product work for the last couple years. A lot of photographers shy away from product saying it is boring, or they would go crazy shooting product all the time. In reality it is not easy and you must know your craft well! Shooting glass, mirrors, shiny, dull, tall, small… they all require a knowledge of how light works and what is required to light something to make it look it’s best. I treat products like people and consider it portrait work of a sort. If you are a potential catalog client you may enjoy this video showing the range of product work we do.
