EDIT – I added a couple shots…
I found Alan on Model Mayhem and asked if he would like to do some portraits.
Check out his MM link is http://www.modelmayhem.com/1839949
Alan has the unique distinction of being the first model shot in our 1 car garage studio! We shot for 2 hours in the cold last Friday afternoon. Right away when I met him I was struck by his animated personality and his Scottish accent. I let him know I am part Irish and he did not hold it against me ☺
This was shot with only small camera speedlights, as I am still waiting for my studio strobes ☻ When we get them in the next few weeks we’ll probebly setup another shoot with Alan again.
He was a great guy to work with and Kathi and I enjoyed working with him We’ll certainly be trying to get him involved with the lifestyle images we are planning on shooting soon. I asked Alan to provide a brief bio below. Enjoy!
Alan’s Bio:
“I’ve acted in a handful of short films, three aired-commercials, done narration for a Hewlett Packard media tutorial, and modeled for a few Bay Area based photographers. Just a few things here and there, nothing much, as the reason being I’m working more behind the cameras these days, producing projects of my own. My short documentary that I produced with the director, The Sundowner, had it’s World Premiere at Slamdance Film Festival in January of last year, one of the top-ten festivals in the country. I currently have a another short film in post-productions, and it is an ambition of my to soon open my own production company, after I find the right business partner. However, I would love to keep finding roles in films, modeling when I can, and that’s why I’m starting to build/update my portfolio again with terrific photographers such as Eric Muetterties. I hope I get the chance to work with him again, on an actual photo assignment.”
And now the photos…
