Times Change…
Times Change…
Times Change. Change is one of those things that we must embrace. The other day I was asked by someone in one of my creative groups to shoot something at my desk and make it creative. Since I have been dabbling in in-camera double exposures I ended up with this shot. It is meant to have a retro feeling that speaks about paying the bills and how everything gets more expensive. I had flipped the checkbook open to a ledger page from years ago. After making the shot I realized how much some of my regular bills had doubled over the last 3 years.
In photography it is the same way. My work is getting better because of the changes. I embrace each week wanting to learn something new, come up with better processes or even refine old skill sets. I love what I do and that keeps me yearning to work again each new day.
No photoshop on this image, just a quick rendering to black and white.
