Test shooting in Santa Cruz with great friends and great models

One problem with getting busy with work is sometimes other things that ARE important to me have to take a back seat. I did two shoots in Santa Cruz at the end of April and beginning of May with my good friends Hiram Chee and Don Giannatti, both wonderful photographers. We also had Briana Shaker Austin, Anca Mihalcescu and Michelle Matthews to model for us. The models worked tirelessly and stayed enthusiastic through a couple of long days of venturing into different places and putting up with the varied comfort levels that happen on the coast that time of year. The problem was that I was so busy shooting product work that I had no time to catch up on editing these two days of testing. Sorry for the wait Briana, Anca and Michelle!

I have to thank Hiram for hosting these events! He is such a great host and friend and makes it fun the whole way. Both he and Don are also great inspirations for me to expand my horizons in photography. If you are a pro and you don’t do shoots with other pros, you are missing out big time, in my humble opinion. This is not the first time we have done shoots together and I hope we do them often.
